KNOW A GOLDEN IN NEED?
FEATURED DOG - CHILI!
Please fill out our online application if you would like to seriously consider adopting Chili.
Meet Chili! This sweet girl got her freedom ride from the Mill she was in and is looking forward to a whole new life of love and kindness with a new fur-ever family. She is shy but will come around with another dog in the home so that she can learn the ropes. Chili is good with other dogs, kids and cats and she will require a traditional fence.
Chili’s foster home reports that she is a VERY VERY sweet and loving girl! She loves to hang out and play with her foster siblings. She is crate trained and does not mind hanging out in it when needed. She is currently sleeping in on the bedroom floor at night along with all of her foster sisters and brothers and she is doing well.
DIRE NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES!
When there isn’t space for a dog in need, we are forced to say “no”, probably the most heartbreaking response for a rescue volunteer.
Fostering is a rewarding experience. It is a great feeling to know that you have helped a dog move on to a better life. For every dog we can help re-home, we can open up a space to save yet another.
To foster a dog, we require a minimum 4 ft conventional fence (invisible fences just aren’t secure enough for mill dogs) and a home with another confident dog.

URGENT NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES FOR INCOMING DOGS

- 1 Puppy Male 6-Months Old

SUCCESS STORIES
The day we met Duke, he totally captured our hearts. A 4-year-old puppy mill survivor, this sweet golden was scared of almost everything common. Stepping onto our patio, loud noises, and going through doorways was terrifying. It was over 6 months before he picked up a toy and mastered going up steps. He finally found his voice after 1 year.
Duke has been with us for over 4 years and after many months, bonding with our other dog Scarlett, Duke has overcome most of his fears. Duke remains very loveable and endearing to everyone he meets. We love you Duke!
Thank you Golden Treasures.
