KNOW A GOLDEN IN NEED?
FEATURED DOG - BREE
Bree is another victim of the puppy mill, this 3-year old sweetie is shy, as she tries to figure out what happened to her. What happened is that she’s free of the horrors of the mill and on her way to a better life. She is good with other dogs, kids and cats. Bree will need another dog in the home to show her the ropes of how to live the life of a normal beloved family pet. As a mill survivor she also requires a fence.
Please fill out our online application if you would like to seriously consider adopting Bree.
DIRE NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES!
When there isn’t space for a dog in need, we are forced to say “no”, probably the most heartbreaking response for a rescue volunteer.
Fostering is a rewarding experience. It is a great feeling to know that you have helped a dog move on to a better life. For every dog we can help re-home, we can open up a space to save yet another.
To foster a dog, we require a minimum 4 ft conventional fence (invisible fences just aren’t secure enough for mill dogs) and a home with another confident dog.

SUCCESS STORIES
The day we met Duke, he totally captured our hearts. A 4-year-old puppy mill survivor, this sweet golden was scared of almost everything common. Stepping onto our patio, loud noises, and going through doorways was terrifying. It was over 6 months before he picked up a toy and mastered going up steps. He finally found his voice after 1 year.
Duke has been with us for over 4 years and after many months, bonding with our other dog Scarlett, Duke has overcome most of his fears. Duke remains very loveable and endearing to everyone he meets. We love you Duke!
Thank you Golden Treasures.
