Golden Retriever Adoption and rescue

Chloe - Female, 5 years old

Chloe - she has spent her first 5 years as a puppy mill mama. But now she's on her way to a better life. She is on the small side for a golden, weighing around 42 lbs. She's small but mighty. She's a little on the dominant side, so a submissive friend would work out best. She requires another dog in the home and a conventional fence.

If you'd like to seriously consider Chloe, please fill out our online adoption application

Charlie: Male, 4 years old

Charlie - Here's a great dog in the rough, who's big and strong. Goldendoodles are a popular dog right now, so we're sure he'll find the right home quickly. A death in the family left him homeless, until we took him in. He's 4 years old and, as is typical for that age, he's full of energy. He hasn't had much in the way of training, but is very willing to learn. Because of his size and energy level, we're looking for a home without young kids. He's ok with other dogs if introduced properly, but he is an attention-grabber, so be prepared to love him lots.

Mara: Female, 3 years old

Mara - this 3-year-old sweetie was able to make it out of Turkey before the borders in the US were closed to international dogs. It's a good thing. She needed orthopedic surgery. Now that she's recovered in her foster home, it's time to move on. She is a bit of a counter surfer, but is also a couch potato and a snuggle-bug, so we'll overlook the counter surfing. Her ideal home will be one that takes her for walks - something she loves.. She loves animals, but she needs an adult-only home and would like to be an only dog. A non-dominant dog might work.

If you'd like to seriously consider Mara, please fill out our online adoption application

Gracie: Female, 2 years old

Gracie - she came to us from Turkey, with her friend Mara. She's a 2-year-old who, as luck would have it, needed orthopedic surgery. That was done and she's fully recovered and ready for her permanent home. She's good with other dogs and needs one in her new home, along with a conventional fence.

If you'd like to seriously consider Gracie, please fill out our online adoption application

Macy: Female, 6 years old

Macy - She's 6 years old and has been with us while she recovered from orthopedic surgery. This cutie patootie was found in puppy mill country and was hit by a car. She's been in a wonderful foster home, learning how to be a dog. Her tail wags and she plays with toys. She's ready to go to her permanent home, which will have to include another dog and a conventional fence.

If you'd like to seriously consider Macy, please fill out our online adoption application

Kaylee: Female, 6 years old

Kaylee - At 6 years old, this very sweet mill mama has just found her way to our rescue - lucky dog! For being from a puppy mill, she's a little on the shy side, which is typical, but not too bad. We know with a little patience, she's soon forget about her previous life. She's good with kids, cats and other dogs. We're looking for a home with a conventional fence and another dog or two. Is that you?

If you'd like to seriously consider Kaylee, please fill out our online adoption application

Sophie: Female, 5 years old

Sophie - She is 5 years old and comes from a puppy mill. Doing well in her foster home, she's now looking for a permanent home where she can come out of her shell a bit. Right now, she's shut down a little, but heading in the right direction. A submissive sweetie, she'll do well with another dog in the home and a conventional fence.

If you'd like to seriously consider Sophie, please fill out our online adoption application

Cheyenne- Female, 5 years old

Cheyenne - She's one of our recent additions. Coming from a puppy mill, she spent 5 years having puppies, making money for the miller. Now she's a Golden Treasure and will spend the rest of her life in retirement. For a mill mama, she's more outgoing than most - a little on the submissive side. She does pick up toys in her mouth and carry them around. She just needs someone to show her how to play with them. She need another dog in the home and a conventional fence.

If you'd like to seriously consider Cheyenne, please fill out our online adoption application
