Golden Retriever Adoption and rescue

Tanner: Male, 6 months old

Tanner : This 6-month-old male rescued from a puppy mill, is a typical, joyful Golden, full of life and fun. He was a bit shy, but more confident than his littermate, Gabe. Tanner is 99% housebroken as long as you pay attention to his cues (coming to you or going to door) to let him out he will go outside, he will wake you in the night also if needs to go out. He is kennel trained with Kong (kibble) and loves to bounce around and play with his foster brothers. He is good with cats and eats great with a slow feeder. He does seeks attention and affection, but is great also at being content to lay at your feet. Coming from a puppy mill, he will require another dog or two in the home and a conventional fence.

Gabe- Male, 6 months old

Gabe - huddled in a corner for his picture, Gabe is a littermate of Tanner, coming from a puppy mill. As is usually typical of mill puppies, 6-month-old Gabe is very shy and fearful. His perfect home will have someone who will be very patient with him, let him go at his own speed and continue to work with him, picking up where his foster left off. He will require another dog and a conventional fence.

Lucy- Female, 4 years old

Lucy - She's doing a happy dance in her foster home. She just realized that she doesn't have to go back to that mill again. One of the luckier girls, she's only spent 4 years in service. Now she's ready to join a forever family. She's good with other dogs, kids, and cats. As a mill dog, she wants another dog in the family and a conventional fence, since puppy mill dogs are a flight risk.

Sadie- Female, 6 years old

Sadie - She looks a little sad in her photo shoot, but that's mostly because she's a little confused about what just happened to her. What just happened is that she has become a Golden Treasure. She spent her life (6 years) in a puppy mill, producing litter after litter until she got to be too old and wasn't bringing in enough money. We're glad to be able to retire her and put her in a new, loving home. She gets along with kids, other dogs, and cats. She will require another dog in the home and a conventional fence.

If you'd like to seriously consider Sadie, please fill out our online adoption application
