Golden Treasures Biking Fundraiser – Pedals for Paws
PLEDGE YOUR SUPPORT TODAY!
Saturday, September 12th at Holmes County Trail
The 3rd annual Pedals for Paws biking fundraiser will be held this year and with all the necessary changes in fundraising due to COVID 19, this is an event that we can safely continue with to help raise needed funds for the dogs that Golden Treasures takes in and cares for.
Sonny Keim and John & Cheryl Schlosser will lead the way this year by aiming for a minimum of 100 miles on their bikes on September 12th at the Holmes County Trail in Millersburg OH.
WE NEED TO MAKE THIS FUNDRAISER AS BIG AS WE CAN THIS YEAR.
Here’s how to make a pledge:
- Flat Donation: A flat donation can be made through PayPal or by mailing in your donation, see left side of this page (below on mobile devices) for info
Pledge Per Mile: Fill out the form to the lower left on this page (below on mobile devices) to make a donation pledge per mile. After the event, you will receive an email indicating how many miles the crew rode and your final donation amount (your amount will based on be the highest number of miles ridden by ONE of the crew members).
[Example]: John rides 115 miles, Cheryl rides 100 miles, Sonny rides 110 miles --- your donation amount will be based on 115 miles
Would you like to participate this year? It’s so easy…….
You can ride in any location of your choosing and any number of miles you set for yourself. We’ll provide a pledge sheet for you to collect pledges from your network of friends and family who love and support rescue. You can direct them to this page if they prefer to make an online pledge.
Golden Treasures Golden Retriever Rescue is an all-volunteer rescue, providing veterinary care, foster homes and permanent new homes for golden retrievers in the Ohio area. We rescue Golden Retrievers wherever we find them.
- Owners of Golden Retrievers sometimes have to surrender their dogs because of health, moving, or work schedule. We help find them a new home where they will be loved and nurtured.
- Golden Retrievers that are abandoned or taken to shelters need special attention, and Golden Treasures Rescue will help with medical treatment and re-socialization of each dog into a new home.
Our adoption fee rarely covers the cost of rescuing these wonderful dogs. We may take in a dog that is already spayed/neutered, but the next one that comes in may be heartworm positive. Golden Treasures relies on donations, fundraising activities and grants for its income. We do not receive any state or federal funds. And, because Golden Treasures is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all donations are tax deductible.
